Accepting these terms

By inviting the AverisStatusPage bot to a Discord server, signing in to the dashboard, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept on its behalf. If you do not agree, remove the bot and stop using the site.

What the service is

ASP polls status pages you specify and republishes what they report into Discord channels you specify. We are a messenger. We do not host, control or verify the upstream pages, and we do not guarantee that their information is accurate, complete or timely. Never use ASP as the only signal for a safety-critical or financially critical decision.

Eligibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age for your region and comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You need Manage Server permission on a server to add or configure bindings there.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• point the bot at endpoints you are not authorized to query, or use it to probe, scan or stress third-party infrastructure;
• attempt to overload the service, evade rate limits, or automate the dashboard beyond normal use;
• reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or rebrand the service without written permission;
• use ASP to distribute unlawful, infringing or deliberately misleading content;
• interfere with other users' bindings, or use the bot to harass anyone.

We may suspend a binding, a server or an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

Availability

The service runs on a single VPS and is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement, no uptime guarantee and no support response commitment. Maintenance is announced in the support server where practical. Polling intervals, quotas and feature limits may change to keep the service healthy for everyone.

Price and future plans

ASP is currently free. If paid tiers appear later, features you already use will not be removed retroactively without notice, and any paid feature will be clearly marked before you commit to it. Nothing here is a promise of perpetual free access.

Intellectual property

The ASP name, logo, artwork, site design and bot code belong to their respective owners and are not licensed to you beyond ordinary use of the service. Status data belongs to whoever publishes it. Configuration you create belongs to you, and you grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it in order to run your bindings.

Third parties

ASP depends on Discord's platform and on the status pages you bind. Their outages, API changes and policy decisions are outside our control and can break functionality without warning. Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord's own terms.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that updates will be delivered on time, that alerts will fire, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or damages arising from a missed or delayed alert. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or 10 EUR. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or death and personal injury.

Termination

You may stop at any time by removing the bot and revoking its access. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if operating the service becomes impractical. On termination, your configuration and history are deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the support server and reflected in the date above. Continued use after that date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of residence, and disputes go to the competent courts there, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available in your own country. If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
